More than 18,000 nominations have been received for the 2023 Equestrian Business Awards. Shortlisting is now in progress, with the list of finalists due to be announced at the end of May.

This is the third running of the popular awards, with 18,870 businesses, professionals and charities put forward across 19 different categories, ranging from Groom of the Year to Equestrian Tech of the Year.

Leading equestrian brands are also supporting this years event, with headline sponsor Bloomfields Horseboxes Ltd and award category sponsors including Equilibrium Products, Clipit Grooming, Goodbye Flys and EC Pro, as well as equestrian businesses, such as East Boldon Riding Centre and Simon Constable’s Equine Vets – both of whom were 2022 winners.

Among the award winners last year was Redwings Horse Sanctuary, who received the Charity of the Year title.

“We’re very grateful to our wonderful staff and volunteers who work tirelessly to care for the horses, ponies, donkeys and mules in our care 365 days a year and this award is dedicated to them,” said a charity spokesman upon receiving the award.

Also among the 2022 winners was Jillian Scott (pictured top), who received the Groom of the Year award.
