Equine welfare charity World Horse Welfare has joined forces with inspiring vet care, the UK’s largest veterinary group, in a partnership that will help the charity continue its vital work caring for, rehabilitating and rehoming horses in need across the UK.
inspiring vet care will provide funding and in-kind support as part of a three-year collaboration, which coincides with the milestone centenary of the charity in 2027.
As well as providing clinical expertise and practical support, inspiring vet care will carry out pre-travel health assessments to ensure horses are fit to move to World Horse Welfare sites.
Horses rehomed through the charity will also have access to inspiring vet care’s Equine Health Plan, providing discounted preventative healthcare including annual vaccinations, dental examinations and parasite testing.
‘Important opportunity’
“We’re delighted to be supporting World Horse Welfare in their centenary year and to build on the positive initiatives we have collaborated on to date,” said Paula Nugent, regional head of equine at inspiring vet care.
“The centenary partnership is an important opportunity to deliver real, measurable improvements in equine welfare.
“By bringing together the strength of our national clinical network and the expertise of our equine teams, we’ll support World Horse Welfare’s work with excellent clinical care, practical education, and fundraising to improve standards of care and strengthen the bond between horses and the people who care for them.”
Staff give back
Employees of inspiring vet care will also provide volunteering support to the charity and take part in fundraising initiatives throughout the collaboration.

“The sponsorship builds on the good work our teams are already doing together and creates an opportunity to deepen that relationship.
