LeMieux has launched ReRide, a resale platform allowing customers to buy and sell pre-owned LeMieux products.
ReRide is available exclusively to LeMieux Insiders Loyalty members through the LeMieux Insiders App, the brand’s equestrian community platform.
LeMieux says the platform is intended to reduce waste, extend the lifespan of products and encourage more conscious purchasing.
“ReRide is built for the LeMieux community. Our high-performance horse and rider wear is made to last, and our seasonal colour collections become part of so many riders’ stories,” said Shaun Loughlin, Digital and Technology Director at LeMieux.
“Whether it’s finding a discontinued favourite, completing a matching set, or passing on great kit that’s ready for its next adventure, ReRide helps keep great LeMieux products in use for longer.
“Bringing ReRide into the LeMieux Insiders App, is an exciting step towards making circularity a natural part of everyday equestrian life.”
How it works
Customers selling an item can log into the app using the email they used when they ordered that item. They can then select the item they wish to sell from the list of their previous LeMieux purchases and set the price and condition of that item.
The product details are provided by LeMieux, with sellers required to upload two photos of the item in its current condition.
Buyers can purchase an item at the asking price or make an offer and can also message the seller directly. Shipping costs are paid by the buyer.
Sellers can choose to receive payment in cash, subject to a 10% processing fee, or receive the full sale value as LeMieux gift card credit. Purchases are fully secured under LeMieux’s Buyer Protection scheme.
