The Society of Master Saddlers (SMS) is hosting two webinars aimed at horse owners. The webinars will highlight the vital role a registered and qualified SMS saddle or bridle fitter play in the horse’s comfort and welfare.

The first webinar on Fit4Welfare Bridle Fitting on Thursday (30 March) at 7pm, will be hosted by Catherine Baker Qualified SMS Master Saddler & Bridle Fitter. During this hour-long webinar Catherine will look at the head anatomy of the horse and how it relates to bridle fit. She will also cover the general rules of good bridle fit for the welfare of the horse.

Fit4Welfare Saddle Fitting is the topic for the second webinar, taking place on Thursday 6 April at 7pm. Steph Bradley, SMS Master Saddler will discuss the difference between a saddler and a saddle fitter, when you should call your qualified fitter and how you can check your own saddles for faults.
