A British Eventing (BE) TV channel is set to be launched on Horse & Country TV.

The channel will host all of Horse & Country’s eventing live streams, kicking off with Belsay International (2-5 June) and Bicton International Horse Trials (10-13 June), followed by Barbury International (9-11 July) and Burgham International (29 July -1 Aug).

The channel will also host live coverage of international events, including Luhmuhlen, Germany (17-20 June) and Pau in France (27-31 October).

The channel will also run other eventing-related programmes, including masterclasses from top names, such as Ros Canter, William Fox-Pitt, Lucinda Green, Ben Hobday and Emily King, Ros Canter.

Other programmes will go behind the scenes with some of the biggest names in the sport, Piggy March, Tina Cook and Oliver Townend.

Horse & Country’s Daisy Dines With series, which features Hickstead co-director Daisy Bunn sitting down to dinner with Laura Collett, William and Alice Fox-Pitt and Pippa and William Funnell, will also continue on the channel.

“The rationale behind the new arrangement is underpinned by Horse & Country’s extensive eventing coverage, which includes live and highlights sport, training content and rider profiles, and the increasing role of video in BE’s communications activity,” said a statement.

“The BE TV channel will be continually updated and refreshed with new material.”

Horse & Country TV is available for signed-up members to watch from anywhere in the world. It can be viewed online, with Horse & Country’s mobile apps or via Roku, Apple TV, Android TV and Amazon Fire.

Membership is £5.99 per month or £59.99 annually. BE members will receive a 15% discount on annual Horse & Country membership when they sign up during June.

“We’re showing more live eventing than ever before this year, so a partnership with BE is a great way to add further value for the passionate eventing community,” said Horse & Country director Richard Burdett.

“We know that many of our viewers are both fans and competitors in their own right, so we’ve created the BE TV Channel to pull together a wide range of content to help them get even more from the sport they love.”

Wendy McGowan, chief operating officer at British Eventing, added: “We are delighted to be partnering with H&C to bring top quality eventing content to the eventing community and to be able to mark this occasion with a special introductory offer for our BE members.”
