British brand Cath Kidston, famous for its floral prints in fashion and homeware, has branched out with its first equestrian range, and the patterned items are proving popular with the horse world.

Riders have been celebrating the eye-catching gear on social media, with items including head collars, saddle pads, stable toys, fly rugs and fly masks.

Celebrating the Year of the Horse, the collection was launched last month in collaboration with Pet Brands and features two prints: Strawberry Garden and Cowgirl.

“This launch is incredibly personal to me,” said Amy Spratt, Group Head of Marketing, Pet Brands. “As a rider, bringing a heritage lifestyle brand like Cath Kidston authentically into equestrian feels both natural and ambitious.

“It’s about celebrating horse life with optimism, colour and credibility, and opening the category to a wider audience.”

“We are always so excited to be able to offer our community new and exciting ranges in the Cath Kidston prints they know and love,” added Holly Marler, Head of Creative, Cath Kidston.

“To bring joy to the practical is at the very core of our DNA, and this equestrian range has been thoughtfully crafted to ensure functionality as well as our quintessential wink of wit and distinctive printed charm.”

Items range from £19.99 to £99.95 and are available via the Pet Brands Amazon page.
