BETA International takes place later this month (Sunday 27 – Monday 28 September) at the NEC, Birmingham, with the 2026 agenda combining professional expertise from inside and outside the industry.

Sunday’s topics for the trade event include HR, sustainability, AI and digital innovation. Investor and founder of Child’s Farm, Joanna Jensen, who owned part of Natasha Baker’s Keystone Dawn Chorus, is among the speakers.

The first day concludes with pitches for the finalists of the New Product Awards.

On Monday, a panel on the future of participation will kick off the day with further talks on product development, marketing, retail strategy, and safety innovation to follow.

“We’re so excited by the talks we’re hosting at the Seminar Theatre this year,” said Liz Ormesher, Event Director.

“We’ve worked hard to deliver a programme that provides something for everyone, whatever business they’re in, and at whatever level they are within the company.”

Networking opportunities

New to this year’s event is Coffee & Connect, a feature designed to offer visitors and exhibitors an informal space to meet, chat and plan the day.

Hosted in the Seminar Theatre on the Sunday from 9.30am, attendees can enjoy complimentary coffee and pastries while catching up with colleagues and industry peers before the first official seminar session begins at 10.30am.

“BETA International is all about connecting with people, whether that is retailers meeting manufacturers and stand holders, or visitors reconnecting with old friends and building new industry relationships,” said Liz.

“There is huge strength in connection and the power of community, particularly in the equestrian industry, so being able to provide a space to support this at BETA International is something we’re very pleased to do.”

Tickets to attend BETA International are free for members of the equestrian, country and associated trades.
