The popular equestrian game Rival Stars Horse Racing will be available to play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One for the first time on 28 April, with the Nintendo Switch 2 version coming soon too.
Players will be given the keys to a rundown ranch to make their own and tasked with restoring their family’s racing legacy.
Supported by a beloved cast, they’ll have the opportunity to raise foals before entering Flat races, steeplechases, and showjumping and cross-country events, turning their nurtured foals into their very own champions.
In addition, if players would rather opt out of trying their luck on the racecourse, they can relax with their horse in a stunning free roam environment. There’s also the chance to take photos with their horse in photo mode too.

Developer and publisher PikPok launched Rival Stars Horse Racing on 7 April at Brook Farm Training Centre in Essex, where they also held a hobby horse showjumping event, which Your Horse’s Beth Stone tried her hand at.
“Rival Stars Horse Racing is a great game with its POV perspective as the rider and it’s quite a tactical game in that you really have to learn what your horse does and doesn’t like,” explained Beth. “The cross-country track is really good fun to ride around too.
“The game is aesthetically pleasing and there are lots of ways you can develop and progress your horses too.”
Rival Stars Horse Racing has over 4,600 reviews on Steam with a 92% positive rating following its PC release, and more than 50 million downloads across mobile and PC VR.

A spokesperson from PikPok said: “This immersive horse racing simulator is making the jump to console, with stunning horses, an in-depth genetic breeding system and, of course, plenty of racing to get players on the edge of their saddles.
“Rival Stars Horse Racing is the perfect game for any equestrian fanatics looking to become legends.”
