Monty Roberts Dually Halter

I had an extremely stubborn youngster who would not load amongst other problems, so I brought a Dually Halter after Kelly Marks used my horse for a loading demonstration. I was shown how to use and fit it correctly and my life has been transformed and not just with loading! The fit is perfect and yes it is expensive (only downside), but when I think that if I load my horse 40 times completely stress free and in 5 mins it is worth every penny. The hours of frustration are a long distance memory. I also use it for ground work and riding. As soon as I put it on my big bolshy youngster becomes a little puppy dog and does everything I ask of her. If you have a problem controlling your horse it is certainly worth getting one.

This headcollar works well and you notice a difference with the horse listening to you. But, I also think it is very pricey for what it actually is, I think it should be half the price and maybe more people would use it instead of other methods. I wouldn't pay £40 for it.

I love it!!!Worth every penny, and I dont even have a problem horse!!really made him concentrate on me for little things, such as standing to be mounted, i had been trying for months with no success, 10 minutes with the dually and he wont budge until i ask!!Deffo pricey (esp if you dont have a "problem" or "remedial" horse) but worth every penny, I even ride in mine when his teeth are due so I can confidently say he's in no pain!
