This year’s Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials (18–21 September) will play host to the Agria FEI Eventing European Championships, marking the return of this exciting event to British soil for the first time since Blair Castle a decade ago.

It also marks 20 years since the eventing Europeans was last held at Blenheim Palace — and we’ve got three amazing prize packages up for grabs so that you can be there to watch the action unfold.

As the reigning European and Olympic Champions, Team GB will be aiming to add yet another gold medal to its impressive tally, but with France and Germany in sparkling form it may not be an easy win.

What is certain, though, is that spectators can look forward to a week of nail-biting, edge-of-the-seat action as the top teams battle it out.

The prize

Three people will win one of the following prizes…

  • Four entry tickets for Friday 19 September for the winner and their family and friends to enjoy. The prize will also include four covered standard seat tickets and show parking for one car.
  • Four entry tickets for Saturday 20 September for the winner and their family and friends to enjoy. This Saturday prize will also include Lakeside parking for one car.
  • Four entry tickets for Sunday 21 September for the winner and their family and friends to enjoy. The prize will also include Lakeside parking for one car and four uncovered standard seats in the Marlborough Grandstand.

How to enter

Entries close at 23:59pm on Sunday 17th August 2025.

About Blenheim

As competitors from across Europe converge on the palace’s historic South Lawn, the stage will be set for a truly world class sporting spectacle.

Additionally, Blenheim will host the GFS Saddles eight- and nine-year-old class, which has long been a proving ground for up-and-coming horses and riders.

Following in reverse to the Europeans’ schedule, with this class’s showjumping on the Saturday and the cross-country on the Sunday, visitors are guaranteed a weekend packed with top-level sport from start to finish.

Another highlight returning to Blenheim is the evoke™ Eventer Challenge, a showcase for grassroots riders representing Pony Clubs and riding clubs across the country, and boasting a hybrid cross-country/showjumping format.

The showground will open from Wednesday 17 September, when the first horse inspection and the ceremonial parade of nations will take place.

From then on, the Europeans’ timetable builds, with dressage running on the Thursday and Friday, followed by cross-country action on Saturday and the showjumping finale on Sunday.

Let the excitement begin!
