Global Champions has revealed that it has a new broadcast partner in ITV, ensuring UK audiences will be able to watch highlights of the Longines Champions Tour (LGCT) and Global Champions League (GCL) team series for the first time this season.

Fans will be able to stream the LGCT and GCL highlights on ITVX following the conclusion of each leg while the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of London, which takes place on Sunday 10 August at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, will be broadcast live.

Paris, Rome and New York are just some of the locations that the 2025 LGCT and GCL will visit this season to showcase the world’s best showjumpers. Thanks to this new broadcast deal, viewers in the UK will be able to catch up with all of the action following the conclusion of each leg on ITVX.

“We are thrilled to bring the Longines Global Champions Tour and GCL to ITVX viewers,” said Jan Tops, founder and president of Global Champions.

“This partnership opens up our sport to a wider audience in the UK, where equestrianism has such a passionate and knowledgeable following. It’s a milestone moment for show jumping as we continue to grow our global reach and inspire new fans.”

The broadcast deal will ensure highlights will be uploaded to ITVX following each stage of the Tour, starting this month with the Shanghai leg which took place on 2-4 May.

“We’re delighted to add the Longines Global Champions Tour and GCL highlights to ITVX,” said Richard Botchway, assistant commissioner at ITV Sport.

“With the live Grand Prix from London included, our viewers will get to experience the drama, precision and elegance of world-class show jumping. It’s a thrilling sport that we’re proud to showcase for a free to air audience.”
