Equifest has announced its new venue for the 2023 event, after 15 years at the East of England Showground.
Next year the show (2-5 August, 2023) will be held at Arena UK, Grantham, Lincolnshire, following a “huge response” to the organisers’ questionnaire. The survey was shared with the public, where they could provide their preferences for the new venue, including location and facilities.
The show shared the final decision on Friday (18 November) and explained why Arena UK was chosen.
“It was by far the venue of choice, being able to offer eight rights on a surface, six rings on grass, a large indoor arena to host the evening performances, catering, space for trade stands and ample areas for stabling and parking,” they said.
They thanked the East of England Agricultural Society for their “support and generosity” over the years and during the transitional stage.
They said they are now in the processes of planning the 2023 event with some new classes and championships, and details will be shared in the near future.
