Equestrian retailer LeMieux have been awarded a Royal Warrant by Appointment to King Charles III as manufacturer of horse blankets and numnahs.

LeMieux, who are the title sponsor of the 2025 Badminton Grassroots Championships, have supplied The Royal Household for the last seven years.

Royal Warrant of appointments are granted as a mark of recognition to people or companies who have regularly supplied goods or services to the Royal Household. It is a tradition that dates back to the 15th century.

“We are hugely proud of this recognition, and I’d like to acknowledge the important part our suppliers, staff and retailers have all played in the growth of the LeMieux brand,” said LeMieux founder, Robert Lemieux.

Official endorsement

“Sustainability is a core objective for companies that hold the Royal Warrant, and we are proud of our ESG progress and look forward to building on our sustainability initiatives in the future.”

Royal Warrants are initially granted for up to five years and entitle the holder to display the Royal Arms in relation to their business.

When the Royal Arms is used by a warrant holder it must also be accompanied by the Legend which provides details regarding which member of the Royal Family granted the Royal Warrant, the company name, the nature of the goods or services provided to them and the head office address of the company.
