Lauren Williamson is a freelance writer with a lifelong passion for horses and rural life. Born in Cheshire, she started her competitive career in the show ring doing fancy dress. Now a professional dressage rider, Lauren has obtained many regional and national titles and enjoys regular training. Alongside writing and dressage, Lauren is passionate about farming, working alongside her husband at home on their dairy farm. She has two children: Arthur, an enthusiastic footballer and cricketer, and Jemima, who is a keen young dressage rider.
