Horse trainer Buck Brannaman is hosting a horsemanship clinic in Liverpool this year, at Aintree International Equestrian Centre.
Buck is considered to be one of the worlds’ best and most experienced horsemen. He's widely respected by professional and recreational horse people and was the inspiration for Nicholas Evans’ best-selling novel ‘The Horse Whisperer’, and the subsequently successful film staring Robert Redford, Kirstin Scott Thomas and Scarlett Johansson.
Bucks’ skills in the saddle and with a rope, are matched only by his ability to teach safe and effective horsemanship to riders of all abilities and is applicable to all disciplines.
George Morris, Chef d’Equipe and Olympian for the US show jumping team, says: “Buck is a horseman’s horseman, who is a world-class rider, teacher and trainer. The horse world, in general, cannot say enough about this man.”
Buck has made many videos on how to teach horses groundwork, horsemanship and trailering and has books chronicling his life experiences.
Spectator tickets are from £55.00 per day or £150.00 for a three-day ticket. Doors open at 07.45 and the clinic starts at 09.00.
Buck will be doing signings on Friday and Saturday from 16.30 - 17.30
