BHS Northamptonshire invites you to an evening demo to learn what to do if you find yourself in an emergency situation with your horse.
From 7pm to 9pm on Thursday 25 May at the Wellingborough Museum, Northamptonshire Fire Service Large Animal Rescue team will give a talk on how to react, how to stay safe and the professional help available should you need your horse rescuing. After their talk they'll show you how they would rescue a horse using specially designed equipment.
Also, BHS Director of Safety, Alan Hiscox will give an update on the BHS Safety Campaigns, including the BHS Dead or Dead Slow Campaign which was launched in 2016 to educate drivers to slow to 15 mph when meeting and passing horses on the road.
The BHS in Northamptonshire is always keen to welcome new volunteers, so if you'd like to be more involved in what the BHS does in the county this is the perfect opportunity to find out more about volunteering.
The talk will take place at The Wellingborough Museum, tickets cost £5 per person. You can pre-book:
