The SEIB Insurance Brokers Burghley Sponsored ride saw 420 riders take to the 12km course around the wonderful parkland of Burghley estate.
The event which attracted a range of riders and horses including 14 Icelandic horses and members of the British Mule Society raised over £20,000 for local charities and equine charities; the British Horse Society, World Horse Welfare and Ebony Riding Club.
“This was a wonderful opportunity for riders of all levels to ride round Burghley and raise money for good causes. At the same time it was important to us that 100% of the money raised by participants goes to charity,” said SEIB Marketing Manager, Nicolina Mackenzie. All the entry fees collected and sponsorship money raised for the sponsored ride went directly to the charities, thanks to the generosity of the sponsors SEIB Insurance Brokers.
