An owner is offering a reward for information after their horse was found shot dead last weekend.
The bay horse is thought to have been killed by a single bullet wound in a field at Hope Mountain near Caergwrle on Sunday morning.
North Wales Rural Crime team have been appealing for information on their Twitter pages, following the incident.
They have tweeted that the owner is offering a £500 for anyone with any information that could lead to a conviction.
So far, a number of enquiries have been received by the team, but the case is still ongoing.
