Riding schools win hi-vis prize

Equestrian brand Harry Hall has awarded four riding schools £500 of hi-vis kit, as an appreciation for the schools teaching riders how to stay safe on the roads.

Riders were invited to nominate, and vote for, their BHS or ABRS approved riding school, explaining why they believed their centre deserved to win.

Harry Hall’s Rachel Bowles explains: “Harry Hall is now established as a maker of extremely stylish safety wear that is as smart as it is functional. We’re also a brand that cares passionately about participation and so can think of nothing better than supporting a group of riding schools who introduce thousands each year to the pleasure of riding.”

“This kit will be so well used,” says Carl Crofts, proprietor of Pennant Park Riding Centre in North Wales, one of the victorious centres. “Even though we are able to use lots of bridleways, we never ride out without hi viz.”

The winning riding centres are:

  • Pennant Park Riding Centre Near Holywell, North Wales
  • Marros Riding Centre in Carmarthenshire
  • Cheshire Riding School, near Comberbach in Cheshire!
  • Robinsons Equiteach near Middlesborough
