The 2016 Mongol Derby, the world’s toughest and longest horse race is set for a nail biting finish with any of the five riders in a position to take the title.
The 1000km race sees the riders only have 40km to go till they meet the finish line tomorrow. At the last station before the finish, are William Comiskey, from Australia, Canada’s Heidi Telstad, and New Mexican, Marcia Hefker-Miles. They are closely followed by Courtney Kizer and Tatiana Mountbatten, and her team mate, Venetia Phillips. So far of the 41 riders who set out, 14 have now retired due to injury and tiredness.
