Wisbech and District Riding Club has celebrated its relaunch in style by hosting its own championship.
Riders and handlers battled it out to be named champions in each section, with the overall supreme champion being awarded at the end of show.
Tim Hall and Ballagh the Buck were awarded the Supreme Champion, having already been named the In-Hand Champion. Rebecca Hoyle and her horse Cayberry Passion were awarded the Reserve Champion, after winning the ridden class.
The riding club has been newly reformed just outside of Wisbech. It now has a permanent, purpose-built venue for hosting a wide variety of events that are open to both members and non-members of the club.
Shows are planned throughout the year along with regular kid’s clubs and training events during the week.
Events range from dressage, show jumping, arena cross country, working hunter and showing with many qualifiers such as Equifest, ESUK, Royal London and Amateur Showing.
