When I first got Sam, he was being used for vaulting. He was, (and is!) the most amazing character. However, we could never master a canter transition without bucking. He exhibited the most bizarre behaviour...... walking down a bank was impossible, we had to launch ourselves off it! Eventually I discovered he had a bad back.  I bought 4 saddles in 4 years. Every 6 months or so I had to get more treatment for his back.

Then I saw an advert for a Torsion treeless saddle. It all made perfect sense, so I hired one for the weekend. Smitten! We have used the Torsion now for 5 years, with NO reoccurrence of back pain. At 17 years old, Sam is learning to jump. Sometime soon, I hope to win a Clear Round rosette......... on a happy, flexible, pain free horse.
