This is Ruby and Kennys Story. My mum friend has 4 horses Tilly,Archy,Merfy and Kenny. One day Lucy (my mums friend) asked me if i wanted to go for a ride at her house so i said okay the next sunday i went to Lucys house and she showed me round the stables and where every thing was. I was amazed buy he horse Archy a 17.2hh TbxID he was shucha stuning horse. I saw this little black head peeping out of a stable door at the end and i asked Lucy who it was and she said it 'oh my Fell Pony Kenny'.

As soon i looked at him i fell i love with him he had the most lovely and a very cheeky look about him. Lucy told me that she got him as a feaild companion for Archy and Kenny used to be a show in Hand Pony. So i asked lucy the week after if i could ride Kenny and to my amazment she said yes but there was a slight down fall Kenny hadent been ridden in 6 months and he had become super fat and unfit.

I was so exited about riding Kenny and a little nuvse as he hadent been ridden in a long time. so i puled my self together and ithough i would concor my chalange to get Kenny back to fit but it would take a long long time. So when i arived Kenny was out in the feaild on his own looking so musible i felt a little sorry for him as he had been ther for 6 months. so i went and got my head collor and lead rope to go chatch him. I went straight up to him and he didnt even bother for looking for food out of my pockets (Lucy told me he can open pokets and take stuff out of them). i qietly walk to the yard with me i was so happy when i was around him he was so lovling. 

I hurried to get his tack and taked him up he was a little star as i thought he might not want to put his bit in as he haddent been ridden for so long but he did. when i got redy and taked up it was time to ride i took kenny out of his stable and got on. Kenny just stood there as if he was saying 'Joy im been ridden agane in a carnt be arsed mood' he made me giggle because he was so quiet and dint put a foot rong wile i was ridng him.

I even asked for a canter and with a coulple of goes we finely got it so i decided to pop a little cross pole up to see how he jumped. And that when it happened we had a nice stedy canter to the jump i got redy for him to take of but it never happend he totale refused the jump and wouldnt go anwer near it after so i got my whip and gave him a tap and told him who was in boss and we had another go after about 11 times we sucseded in jumping it was shuch a joy and a few weeks later we were jumping a 5 jump corse i was totaly amazed but in the time of 6 week Kenny had lost whaight and had stoped refusing at jumps i was sooo happy with him.

One day when iwas rideing Kenny Lucy came up and asked me if i would like to part loan Kenny i was so exited and needed to tell my mum the brill news and she even said yes i could oan him. A few weeks later me and kenny were doing little show jumping comps and dressarge.
