A great weekend, but ready for a rest!

What a weekend, I’m exhausted but it has been another great Your Horse Live. Although I’m working all weekend, I can’t complain, I get to watch top celebs and do a bit of shopping too!
As expected Geoff and Oli were great entertainment and were a hit with the audience. I really enjoyed watching Anna Ross-Davies and Roland Tong, so much so one of my goals for 2012 is to have a go at Dressage to Music with Wish.
What a fantastic opportunity for two lucky Your Horse magazine readers who won a lesson with Laura Bechtolsheimer. Both horses, Marco and Duchess coped with the atmosphere in the main arena and you could see a clear improvement in their way of going thanks to Laura’s instruction. I spoke to Jade and Catherine after their lessons and both were extremely happy and proud of their horses.
I didn’t have much time to shop but I did manage to buy two haynets (how exciting!) and just when I thought to myself I’d managed not to spend very much a saddle pad with matching bandages caught my eye! I tried to ignore them but ended up buying them – I couldn’t help myself!
It’s always nice to get home and its back into my usual routine of doing my horses before and after work. I always come back from Your Horse Live inspired and ready to put into practice some of the things I’ve learnt over the weekend, but I think I’ll leave stunt riding to Rockin Horse!
