Saracen Horse Feed-sponsored, mother and daughter team Sara and Phillipa Howe returned home to Kent after a successful outing at the Indoor Driving Championships at Keysoe’s College Equestrian Centre in Bedford.
Phillipa Howe achieved a dressage score of 22.6, the highest in the open pony class and her cone course saw her finish with a clear round and only 2 time faults. Driving a fast marathon, Phillipa kept her cool with a final score of 154.93.
Phillipa was also awarded the title of ‘Indoor Supreme Champion’ beating over 100 competitors to claim that title.
Sara Howe took the opportunity to ‘road test’ her own pony team of section A’s for the first time and finished a respectable 2nd place.
