A massive multi-million pound equestrian city is to be built in China with money from the Dubai-based Meydan Corporation.
The city is to include an equine college, feedstuffs plant, breeding centre, horse hospital and a quarantine centre. There will also be five to seven star luxury hotels, a clubhouse and commercial and residential properties.
The recreational and entertainment centre will be constructed as a tourist resort for horse riding, horse breeding, horse viewing and equestrian sports.
It may also have a racecourse if the state of Tianjin, where the project is based, will allow.
Meydan has a similar city already under construction in Dubai, where a high end racecourse was opened three days ago for the Dubai World Cup.
