British Eventing (BE) is offering budding film makers the chance to submit their eventing footage as part of its online competition -‘Eventing Cinema’.

The winning entry, which must capture the spirit, adrenaline and horsemanship of the sport of eventing, will be selected by a celebrity eventing panel including former Badminton winner Paul Tapner, Burghley director Elizabeth Inman, BE’s Chief Executive and international course designer Mike Etherington-Smith, as well as Social Media expert Liam Killen, the man behind the Page Play Equestrian Social Media Awards.

Event rider Paul Tapner said: “This is a great campaign to celebrate our fantastic sport for people all over the world. I can’t wait to be part of the judging panel to select a winning entry to be shown at Burghley this September.”

This competition will be a celebration of the sport and as such, film-makers are invited to submit films from any eventing competition around the world.

Enter and you could win the chance to have your film shown on the big screens at the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials this September plus £1000 in photography or filming equipment.

Submissions made so far can be found on the Eventing Cinema playlist on www.youtube.com/britisheventinggb
