Without your help, the charity, Canterbury Horse Rescue could be forced to close.

The recession has hit the charity hard and with a fall in revenue and increased demand for services it’s currently between a rock and a hard place.

Increasing costs for leasing and renting the operating centre at Boundgate Farm in Kent is forcing the charity to find new premises. But, failure to do so could result in the closure of the centre and a very uncertain and bleak future for the many equine residents that call it their home.

Everyone at Canterbury Horse Rescue needs your help to raise £250,000 in just six short weeks following a very generous offer from a supporter.

The charity was recently thrown a possible life-line by supporter of the charity, when they offered Canterbury Horse Rescue the chance to purchase at a 24 stable yard, barns, outbuildings and grazing ideal for its purpose at a greatly reduced price of £250,000. But, this offer is only available until the end of January 2010 when it will then be placed on the open market at the full market price.

Please donate just £1 (even more would be nice) and pass on this appeal to as many people you can.
