First Ever Issue

I enjoyed seeing those pictures of 25 years ago. How well I remember those early Your Horse issues. I loved reading them and always looked forward to the familiar red blocked title appearing in the newsagent. I got my first horse at just about that time so it was perfect for me. I can't help thinking though that there was a lot more editorial then and fewer pretty pictures, well it was mostly black and white anyway. Also there was a much wider variety of horse types and different sorts of owners featured. I don't actually buy the mag any more as I am beyond the target age group, keep my horses at home and like to do things my own way nowadays. But as someone who now works in the Equine industry, sometimes advertising in Your Horse, I do like to know what is going on. Lets hope it is still going strong in another 25 years.
