Top names from the worlds of eventing, show jumping, dressage and racing have stripped off for the Riders Revealed 2012 calendar - all for a good cause.
The calendar, featuring top riders including Mary King, Geoff Billington, Mark Todd and Piggy French, will raise money to help the inspirational eventer Claire Lomas get walking again after a freak riding accident in 2007 at Osberton Horse Trials left her paralysed from the chest down.
Claire is determined to walk again and hopes to raise £35,000 for a ReWalk suit that will help her to achieve her goal. This new robotic suit will soon be available in the UK and Claire hopes to have one in time for the 2012 London Marathon, at which she plans to walk the 26-mile route.
Riders Revealed 2012 will be officially launched at the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials this week in the celebrity talk arena. It’s taken five months to produce with riders being photographed all over the country and it’s now available to purchase for just £10 plus p&p at www.ridersrevealed.co.uk
"I can't believe how brave the riders have been, the photos are fantastic,” said Claire.
“I’m so grateful to everyone who has helped with the calendar, and to everyone who buys it.”
Claire’s grit and determination has inspired many. Since her accident, she's achieved some truly remarkable goals including taking up skiing and subsequently being selected for the British Disabled Development Squad. She's also set up her own jewellery business, married her partner Mark and together they now have a beautiful little girl, Maisie.

Any profits over and above Claire's target amount of £35,000 will go to Spinal Research so please support this fantastic cause if you can.
