Shires Cover Star 2009

Everyone in the equestrian world knows about the Shires catalogue and, over the years, the catalogue has grown to become a guide for what’s available in the world of tack and clothing. Shires print around 200,000 catalogues per year and this year, the Shires team are running a competition looking for a cover star.

“We’re looking for someone who can ride to a reasonable standard and loves horses,” explains Marcus Cridland, Marketing Director for Shires, “it doesn’t matter whether they’re male or female, young or not so young, they just need to log on to our new website www.shiresequestrian.com, click on ‘Shires Cover Star 2009’ and fill in the application form. We will need a recent head and shoulders photograph and, if possible, a video of them riding, if not, a photograph of them on a horse should be sufficient. These can be sent, with a completed application form available online, via the website or through the post.”

The winner not only receives the honour of being the Shires cover star for 2009, he or she will also receive a selection of Shires products.
