For fans of model horses, a new breed of them has come onto the market. The Equorum Model Horse Stud opened its doors at the beginning of April, producing hand-made collectors¹ horses and ponies in latex.

The Equorum Stud describes itself as a model horse enthusiasts paradise, with breeds from the British Isles and around the world. Buyers select the breed they want and once the horse or pony is Œborn and ready to wean¹ it is dispatched to its new owner with its own passport detailing the beginning of its family tree.

The passport has a picture of the horse or pony purchased, the names of its dam and sire, room for the new owner to enter the name of their new horse or pony, details of its markings, colour, breed, etc plus transfer of sale forms, for the use of the owner should they decide to sell the horse or pony on in the future.

No expense is spared to make sure that every model horse or pony bred within The Equorum Stud is something special, arriving with its new owner in pristine condition in a presentation box on a bed of tissue paper along with its passport and a scroll containing the history of the breed.

As each model is individually hand painted, with their manes and tails individually dyed, collectors will find no two Equorum model horses the same; they are just beautiful.

In addition to the horses and ponies stabled at Equorum; collectors can complete their stable yard with poseable vets and farriers, different breeds of dogs, tack and fabulous LSQ accessories, as well as poseable model riders who are fully wired, which enables them to be positioned correctly for the show-ring with heals down and toes up!
