A revolutionary leg therapy system geared towards busy yards has just come on to the equine market.

FMBs Therapy Systems has launched the Mounty Cool+Press equine therapy boot that provides both cold therapy and intermittent compression for up to four legs at the same time.

This new versatile, lightweight, portable and easy to use boot is the latest product to join the physical equine therapy range from FMBs Therapy Systems, which also distributes the popular Activo-Med pulsed electromagnetic and massage systems, laser, TENS, Ultrasound, water treadmills and the new Equi-Shower.

Operated by a small self-contained battery-powered control box, the clever Cool+Press system attaches to the surcingle. This means that there are no trailing cables or connections, allowing the horse to be walked if needed.

Both the lower and upper parts of the boot have twin air bags, which help disperse any excess fluid in the horse’s leg and provide support and compression while gel inserts either warm or cool the leg.

Available in small (pony), medium (horse front) and large (horse hind), costing £690 (two boots) or £880 (four boots).
