If you’re after a tough competition boot that’s kind on equine legs, look no further than the Veredus Grand Prix Boot by Baloubet.

Named after Rodrigo Pessoa’s top showjumper Baloubet, who has sensitive legs, both the fetlock and tendon boots feature a soft natural orthopaedic sheepskin lining, which is non-allergenic and offers comfort and a consistent temperature.

Costing £89, the Grand Prix Front Boot has an EVA foam pad inserted into the anatomically-shaped shell, which provides maximum protection to the flexor tendon while allowing the knee and fetlock greater freedom of movement.

Manufactured from 54-Shore TPU, the shell operates just as effectively in temperatures as low as –15deg as it does in +50 deg. The back of the tendon boot includes extra protection provided by an X-shape made of 66-Shore TPU, a more rigid polyurethane mixture.

This boot also has soft, adjustable and secure elastic straps that maintain constant tension over time, along with Flexton tops on stainless steel clasps, which allow speedy removal with just one hand.

The revolutionary Grand Prix Rear Boot is also anatomically-shaped for maximum comfort. This knuckle boot has a small EVA foam pad inserted into the shell to protect the fetlock area. It costs £75.

Both the Veredus Grand Prix Front and Rear Boots come in brown and black in small, medium and large sizes.
