Meet an equine cover star!

Annie, a lovely black Welsh Section D, is the cover star of a new equine feed product – Shape-Up.

The 13-year-old mare’s photo graces the Shape-Up bag, after she was one of the horses taking part in diet trials of the feed from Saracen Horse Feeds.

Owned by Karen Hopcutt from Coventry, Annie was always a challenge when it came to keeping her weight down. However, the mare soon did well on the new feed.
Karen said: “Since feeding Annie Shape-Up, it’s like I have a new horse!

“Annie is now at the correct weight and condition, and the weight loss has also given her the freedom to move with more energy too.

“I no longer need to feed several feeds and supplements so it also saves me time and money.”

Shape-Up contains all the vitamins and minerals that a horse requires in a palatable feed, and is designed for equines who are “watching their weight”. It is also perfect for horses and ponies prone to laminitis or metabolic syndrome.
