Spillers Horse Feeds has introduced a new product guide to help horse owners select the right feed for their horse or pony.

The guide logically and simply explains common feeding issues and then presents the Spillers feed that best addresses them.

Spillers produces the most comprehensive range of feeds in the UK and the guide makes it simple to understand how and why the formulation and purpose of each one differs.

Products are grouped into logical categories such as feeds for the laminitis-prone, non-heating feeds, competition feeds, senior feeds and conditioning feeds.

At a glance the busy horse owner can identify the most suitable products - whether they have a fussy eater, an oldie, a good doer, a finely tuned competition horse, a fat pony, a youngster, a hot-headed hack, a brood mare or a race horse.

At the back of the guide is a handy chart summarising the nutritional analysis of each product, to make it quick and easy to compare the formulation of each feed.

“Every one of our products has been carefully formulated and tested with specific nutritional objectives in mind,” said Spillers head nutritionist Clare Barfoot.

“The result is a proven range that reaches across the full spectrum of horse and pony ownership, with products to promote optimum health and performance in every breed and type at any level of work or at rest.”
