After the Blenheim International Horse Trials was forced to cancel last year due to torrential rain, organisers are delighted to have been watering the course this year!
Having done so the Oxfordshire course will now be in tip-top condition ready for the four-day event to start on Thursday – and the weather forecast looks set fair too.
Spectators can look forward to two days of dressage action on Thursday and Friday, with plenty of additional entertainment, including a foot-tapping dressage to music display by Beverley Brightman, and a dressage display by Britain’s inspirational paralympic champions.
The weekend will see two days of cross-country action for the first time, as the feature CCI*** class tackle the world-renowned Blenheim cross-country course on Saturday and the new CIC*** ‘star spotter’ class tackle their cross-country course on Sunday.
Sunday visitors will also be treated to a show jumping Masterclass with renowned rider and trainer Graham Fletcher, as well as the exciting conclusion of the show jumping phase of the CCI***.
Tickets for the event will be on sale at the gate.
