A host of top riders will descend on the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials in early September.

Big names in eventing will include Pippa Funnell, William Fox-Pitt, Mary King and Oliver Townend  - plus watch out for international stars such as those from the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, France, Germany and even China and Japan.

Horse fans will also be able to see top names from other disciplines, including showing guru Lucy Killingbeck, a show jumping Masterclass with Graham Fletcher and Tim Stockdale adding his own brand of entertainment as he walks the Pony Club Team Challenge course.

Cross country fans will be able to see their favourite event both on Saturday and Sunday this year, as Saturday’s CCI 3* is being joined by a CIC3* on Sunday, in which up-and-coming horses can gain experience as they held towards the 2012 Olympics.

And, as if that isn’t enough, there are a wide variety of stands and demonstrations – including rabbit show jumping!

“We are hoping for a sunny weekend to allow everyone to enjoy all of the great things which are on offer” commented Event Director, Mandy Hervieu.

“Tickets can be bought on the gate, but advanced purchasers enjoy great discounts and with certain tickets subject to availability, it’s important to book early to avoid disappointment.”
