The Horse Trust is selling off some of its rugs to help fund its work caring for neglected horses and ponies.
The charity in Princes Risborough, Bucks, has received so many donations of rugs it now has more than it can use itself.
“We are so grateful for all the gifts we have received, but our rug store is now overflowing so we have decided to sell some of the surplus indoor and outdoor rugs to fund other aspects of our work,” said Shirley Abbott, stable manager at the Trust’s Home of Rest.
The Trust gives sanctuary to more than 100 horses, ponies and donkeys.
The sale will take place at the Home of Rest on Saturday Oct 18, 11am to 4pm. For full details see www.horsetrust.org.uk.
