New show jumping class at British Open

New members of British Showjumping and existing members of British Riding Clubs and the Pony Club are to get the chance to compete at The British Open Show Jumping Championships.
Members of British Showjumping must have joined after Jan 1 2008 to qualify. And BRC and PC members must also join British Showjumping.
Qualifying competitions will be held at selected BS shows throughout the forthcoming winter season.
Qualifiers will be split into three separate classes - 128cms, 138cms and 148cms – and the winners from each class will form a team of three, which will then be invited to compete at the BOSJC in a team event.
Each team will be allocated their own top international show jumper to act as their team coach and Chef d’Equipe for the show at the NEC in April.
