The stage is set for the first ever two-day British Riding Clubs Festival of the Hunter - the Championship event for Cross-Country and National Showing Classes for all members of an affiliated Riding Club.
This year’s event, generously sponsored by Kbis Equine insurance, will take place on May 31 and June 1 at Washbrook Farm, Aston le Walls, Daventry, Northamptonshire.
For the first time since its inception, the Festival will become a two-day Championship, welcoming back the Junior Open Cross-Country section and introducing both Senior and Junior Novice Pairs Cross-Country.
A busy schedule of Championship classes are taking place throughout the weekend which include: Novice, Open and Pairs Cross-Country for both Seniors and Juniors; Ridden Cob; Ridden Hunters; Working Cob; Working Hunters and the prestigious Best in Show.
Helen Owens, Senior Executive, British Riding Clubs said: “We are delighted that Kbis Equine Insurance are sponsoring The Festival of the Hunter for the seventh year running and thank them for their continued support. We look forward to welcoming all British Riding Club competitors to the Festival of the Hunter and wish them the very best of luck.”
There is no charge for admission and the weekend promises something for all spectators with the showing classes on the Saturday and Cross-Country starting from 9am on both days.
