New home for BSJA amateurs and veterans

This year’s BSJA Amateur & Veteran Championships are to be hosted at The Aintree International Equestrian Centre.
The centre has extensive facilities including two large arenas under one roof, and a large area of hard-standing parking. The racecourse provides onsite stabling for 160 horses, stables with full CCTV systems, wash-down facilities, solarium, tack box lockers, rubberised walkways and an 11-furlong fibre sand gallop.
Grandstand seating is available, together with a full silver service restaurant in the area next to the main arena together with a quality in-house fast food facility open during all competitions, together with bar and function areas for evening entertainment. Canteen facilities are also available in the stable area.
Set in the inspiring location of Aintree Racecourse, home of the John Smith’s Grand National, Aintree International Equestrian Centre in the North West of England boasts some of the best facilities for the equine athlete.
Andrew Tulloch, Equestrian Centre Director, commented “We are delighted to be given the opportunity to host these championships.
“It is not only a great boost for equestrianism in the North West but also for everyone who has been involved in the Centre and we look forward to welcoming everyone here on November 26–29.”
