Katie captains polo match

Glamour model turned equestrian Katie Price is to take part in a celebrity polo match at the British Open Show Jumping Championships.

Katie will be team captain of her team of three - Team KP Equestrian – and will face another celebrity team yet to be announced.

The match on Sunday April 19 will comprise of two chukkas giving visitors an insight into the moves and shots the celebrities have learnt in preparation for the competition.

As one of the fastest-moving sports in the world, polo is a thrilling sport to watch and, with two gutsy celebrities at the helm, expect fun and fireworks!

Katie said: ”I’m really excited about being part of the British Open’s celebrity arena polo match.  I’ve played polo before and really enjoyed it so I’m definitely looking forward to going head-to-head with another celebrity and hopefully scoring a few goals!  And, unlike some polo matches I could mention, this one is open to anyone who wants to buy a ticket!  See you there!”
