Stars flock to Champions Tour

Stars of the show jumping and eventing world lined up to watch Oliver Townend and Geoff Billington in action on their recent ‘Champions Tour’.

The current Badminton and Burghley champion Oliver Townend and show-jumping star Geoff Billington proved to be an irresistible formula, with their January shows being a sell-out and additional seating added at some venues to meet ticket demand.

Top show jumper Michael Whitaker was one of those who joined the audience at the recent Arena UK date. He was thoroughly entertained:

"Geoff and I have been great friends for longer than I care to remember! I had heard great reports from everybody who has seen the show, so I thought I would bring the family along to Arena UK to see what everyone is talking about and we weren’t disappointed! 

“I had heard a few people talk about the show opening, whereby Geoff jumps some huge fences in near darkness, which just confirms he that he is as mad as I always thought he was!"

And spotted supporting her friend Oliver at the Hartpury date was eventing Royal HRH Zara Phillips:

“I have heard great reports from friends who have seen the show,” says Zara,
“Knowing Oliver and his sense of humour, it made for a great night’s entertainment”
