Veteran riders will get their chance to shine at the KBIS British Equestrian/BSJA National Amateur & Veteran Championships.
The event at Arena UK in Lincolnshire on December 3-7 is for all levels of amateur rider. Classes will be from 90cms through to the 1.20m Grand Prix and, for the more mature rider, the Veteran Grand Prix.
Riders will compete against each other for the first three days in the hope of securing a place in the Grand Prix Finals held on Saturday and Sunday.
Liz Prest of KBIS British Equestrian Insurance said: “We really enjoy supporting such a prestigious show jumping series and working alongside the team at the BSJA.
“The series gives amateur and veteran show jumpers the chance to compete with riders of a similar level and experience.
“We are keen supporters of grass roots competitors and recognise that without competitions like these the various equestrian sports would not grow and develop.”
