The British Eventing Coaching Development Team (CDT) has announced further spring dates for its very successful cross-country performance workshops. Each half-day workshop is open to all levels and is divided into two sections focusing on safe, effective cross-country riding. Every workshop will be run by two of the coaches from the CDT trained by Yogi Breisner. CDT Members are Nick Turner, Caroline Moore, Christie Wright, Philip Surl and Clare Turner.

Each cross-country workshop will cover course walking (including distances, lines and combinations), aspects of fitness and competition planning, as well as practical cross-country riding - focusing on safety, position, balance, speed training and stop watch use. The cost of a riding place on the workshops is £70 and non-riding is £35. Subject to time available, there will also be limited group/private cross-country lessons at each venue.

April and May dates are:

April 5 - Little Downham Cambs
April 24 - Tweseldown Hants
May 1 & 2 - Badminton Course Walks 2pm Fence 1 (£10 pre-booked)
June 22 - Mill Hill London
Further dates at Gleaneagles/Scottish Borders are soon to be announced.
