Jason Webb
Brought up on his family’s 4,000 acre sheep and cattle property in New South Wales, Australia, Jason was taught to break-in horses using the same methods handed down through generations of horsemen in his family – similar to the methods that are widely described as ‘natural horsemanship’ today.
He originally came to the UK to play polocrosse, but quickly gained a reputation for backing young horses calmly and sensitively, and for having an ability to turn around horses with severe behavioural and ridden problems.
Since setting at Risebridge Farm in Kent, Jason has handled over 150 horses each year, from professional riders, studs and private owners nationwide and from referrals from vets, farriers, equine dentists and other equestrian professionals. As if that wasn’t enough he has also recently been made captain of the UK World Cup polocrosse team!
Jason will be returning for a second year, after wowing audiences at last year’s Your Horse Live, to demonstrate how he starts a young horse under saddle for the first time, and also to help a horse with behavioural problems overcome them. It’s certain to be inspiring to watch.
