Carl Hester and Charlotte Dujardin
Carl Hester is one the world’s greatest dressage riders and trainers.
He’s represented Great Britain at three Olympic Games (and counting) and was part of the gold medal winning team at the 2011 European Dressage Championships in Rotterdam, riding Uthopia, where the pair also picked up two individual silver medals. He’s won medals at the World Equestrian Games and has notched up over 50 National titles – a phenomenal achievement.
Renowned for his kind and sympathetic way of riding and his ability to coax the best from any horse he rides, Carl’s training methods and philosophy are thought provoking and inspirational.
He’s in huge demand as a trainer, and his generosity and skill as mentor has enabled one of his pupils in particular to fulfill her potential. Charlotte Dujardin has risen fast to the top of the dressage world - riding Carl’s own horse Valegro she was part of the British team that brought back European gold in 2011.
