HORSEWARE® IRELAND AND PESSOA CREATE A CHIC NEW LOOK
Horseware® Ireland is delighted to announce the launch of the new R. Pessoa clothing collection. Launched at Spoga Horse in February and Beta in March, the new range of clothing was welcomed by traders who were looking to add a continental feel to their collection. This exclusive range of clothing, which is aimed at the top end of the market, is intended to fill the gap in the current Horseware® Ireland portfolio.
This vibrant and chic range of equestrian and high street clothing combines the legendary name of Pessoa with the quality brand of Horseware. Nothing has been spared with the development of R Pessoa, and the attention to detail sets this brand apart from other collections on the market.
Bursting with colour and style, this new brand will add a new dimension to the existing Horseware clothing range which includes Horseware®, Newmarket, and Lucinda Green.
Designed with the rider in mind the R.Pessoa range offers, style quality and functionality. Central to the collection is the requirement to perform at the highest level. With this in mind, nothing has been spared in its development, and with intensive research the R Pessoa collection has all the technical requirements for high performance sport.

My innate passion for riding is the driving force behind the R. Pessoa apparel line. This collection is for those sharing this same spirit for riding, Pessoa said”.
The collection is available in two stories, the first of which is the Casual collection. This collection is further divided into two ranges, Sport and Glamour. The Casual line is sophisticated and suitable for everyday wear, while The Sport line is vibrant, characterized by the Brazilian colours and possibly aimed at the younger market. Both lines bear the Pessoa shield, which stands for honour and distinction. The Glamour line will be distinguished by a leather shield, while the Sport line will bear a multi-coloured shield.
The R Pessoa competition range combines functionality, with elegant styles and luxurious materials. Using the latest technology, and without compromising on style these jackets not only look good but performs at the highest level. The competition jacket is available in two versions, the first a Classic Wool Jacket, and the second a Soft shell Jacket. Both jackets offer an element of stretch which allows the rider more flexibility while competing.
Similarly the R. Pessoa breeches are both innovative and stylish and are available in six colours. The women’s breeches are made with leather inserts which gives an extra dressy look, while the innovative lycra calve allows for a closer fit.
The R. Pessoa shirts are available for men and women. An innovative magnetic closure system on the ladies shirt adds extra comfort.
The Pessoa range is another example of Horseware’s desire for continued innovation and expansion. The Pessoa range will be available in shops from September 2011.
