Jim Masterson is Equine Massage Therapist for the US Endurance Team and many international competition horses. He teaches a unique method of bodywork that recognizes and follows the visual responses of the horse to touch, to find and release accumulated muscle and structural stress in key junctions of the horse's body that most affect performance. On a recent visit to the UK to perform a series of workshops for riders, owners, trainers and equine therapists, Jim took time out to share his methodology with Your Horse. Here he demonstrates on Sally Hall’s nine-year-old international endurance horse Barnowl at Urchinwood Manor Equitation Centre, near Bristol.
